Our client, a leading F100 biotech company with an impressive track record of success is seeking a new Senior Manager, Corporate Finance FP&A to join their team.  This role will be the finance partner in driving business development deal support for licensing, R&D collaborations, out licensing, supply agreements, etc. This person will support contract reviews (for finance), deal modeling and evaluations, influence financial terms, prepare deal memo, checklists and ensure alignment on all key assumptions with other finance sub functions. In addition, this person will drive the Executive Capital Committee meetings and associated processes on monthly basis (review submitted projects seeking approval, prepare package for ECC, etc.) as well as prepare the corporate wide capital spend forecast (budget / LE) executive reviews.
  • Finance partner supporting business development and strategic planning functions
  • Partner extensively with corporate development, legal and other finance functions to provide deal support for licensing, R&D collaborations, out licensing and other supply agreements
  • Drive cross functional alignment within controllership, tax, treasury and operations finance functions for business development finance support
  • Manage company’s capital investment governance process by managing ECC (Executive Capital Committee) meetings on monthly basis
  • Take an active part in a number of corporate level cross-functional initiatives and strategic projects
  • 8+ years of experience in Finance, having held positions of increasing scope and responsibility  
  • BS or BA is required and an MBA is strongly preferred
  • Prior experience in M&A for bio-tech or Pharma is desirable
  • Strong analytical skills       
  • Significant knowledge and understanding of US GAAP is preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills are required
  • Working knowledge of Oracle and Hyperion is preferred
