Our client, one of the largest and most longstanding residential property management firms in San Francisco, is seeking a new Yardi Business Analyst to join their team. 
In this role, you will be part of a small dedicated team of IT professionals working to provide users a simple, modern technology environment. Under the direct supervision of the Director of Information Technology, this full-time position provides Yardi Support services to ensure the firm’s software systems are functioning properly, both at the company and property level, and provides support to internal staff to address technology and systems issues as they arise. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, analyze and troubleshoot Yardi software issues with critical thinking skills
  • Respond to Yardi related support tickets from company users
  • Plan for new products and implement new strategies
  • Manage and interface with consultants and vendors
  • Mentor, train and support team members
  • Learn and work with new technologies on a constant basis
  • Complete tasks in a group as well as individually
  • Other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned by the Director of Information Technology 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Systems and Software including, but not limited to:
  • Strong trouble shooting skills. Takes a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a positive work approach
  • Proficiency with Yardi products

Support Experience
  • Provide guidance to support desk personnel
  • Resolve complex Yardi support issues
  • Interact with multiple business departments to determine project goals and requirements
Familiarity with
  • Best practices for corporate accounting in a Yardi environment
  • Best practices for property operations in a Yardi environment
  • Best practices for training in a Yardi environment
  • Third party interfaces such as DocuSign, Happy Company
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Strong analytical skills and methodical troubleshooting ability
  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to travel to property sites within the City of San Francisco
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other computer components
  • Standard working hours for this position are 8 AM – 5 PM Monday through Friday with occasional after hours as required
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Two years hands on experience working in a Yardi support or administrator role
  • 4-year degree in a Business Major is preferred or 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to travel to property sites within the City of San Francisco
